Worm Locomotion

Years ago I saw a video by Sam Hancock explaining worm locomotion in Houdini 13. The results were beautiful, but unfortunately, the method using FEM no longer works in the latest version of Houdini.

Now I’ve finally tried my hand at figuring out an updated technique using Vellum, and am very satisfied with the results! I hope you find this crawling worm captivating!
